This is how it will work:
If your club has entered at least 4 archers for the shoot, you will be eligible to win the Team award. The archers can be men, women or juniors, and all the scores will count, whether you have four archers or ten archers.
We have developed a handicap system using scores from the last two Welsh Champs and the last two NFAS Champs. We will use this system to level up the bow styles. Then, we will add all the final scores from your team together and divide them by the number of archers in your team. This will give us a score for your team and, ultimately, the winning club.
No handicap system is perfect, but this is just a bit of fun and also an incentive for everyone at your club to do their best to help your team.
Your club will be entered into the team event by default, so you don’t need to do anything.
